57th Field Ambulance RAMC

Bob

proper brummie kid
Hi fellow history buffs
I'm hoping that someone can help me with a problem that I've come up against.
My Uncle served with the 57th Field Ambulance R.A.M.C during the Great War.
Could anyone tell me where the Head Quarters of this unit was, bearing in mind he was born in Sparkhill.
Cheers
Bob

My Father-in-law, from Stirchley had a Harry Shaw, also from Stirchley, as his Captain in the Royal Artillery during the Second World war, after the War, Harry was Best Man at his wedding.Ring any bells?.
