  • HI folks the server that hosts the site completely died including the Hdd's and backups.
    Luckily i create an offsite backup once a week! this has now been restored so we have lost a few days posts.
    im still fixing things at the moment so bear with me and im still working on all images 90% are fine the others im working on now
    we are now using a backup solution

    Here's a great photo of my grand father John Thomas Emery, third from left, the two boys are my dad Leonard, the shorter one, and my uncle Douglas Emery about 1916. at the time this photo was taken my Grandfather had three boys away at war Bill, Fred, And Arthur. Bill died of wounds in 1918.

    I remember this Branch of Tesco Opening I think it was 1964 I was about 9 yrs old, the reason I remember it was because it was being opened by Comedian And Film star, Tommy Trinder , I queued up and got his Autograph, He told me I was Lucky.
