I use to go there for a drink, as you say it was frequented by the Irish community (mostly employed on civil and utility construction ) sadly another pub lost.

A picture of the Digbeth branch canal taken from the tow path looking towards the town, on a sunny day it is nice to see the canals and the greenery on the canal side.
