at least it was british made ammo..1973 the cartridge is the second to last year of British made .303 ammunition. The last batch of L9Z blanks and Mk 7 Ball rounds was made in 1974, after that, .303 rounds were supplied from Greece until the .303 was finally retired from service in around 1986/87.

me too i love the 1911.Great weapon the .303, used an old WW1 short nose, at the Small arms range at Waterbeach Barracks when in the Full Bore Club , back in the 70's 80's, had a Colt .45 1911 issue to !!
I see 348 Moseley Road (Alfred J. Parkers Ltd) has been demolished by July 2022, new work includes 2 x part Five, Part Six Storey building to provide 87 residential units to the rear of the site.Miss Edna Parker

Yes it's 332 - 348 Moseley Rdlooks to me as though all those other lovely buildings to the left of parkers has also been demolished...how sad

They came in boxes of 32.
