I have been given several old Photographs of Silver Birch Road, Erdington.
My guess is that they are from1920/30s.

I think it says Silver Birch backwards.

In 1912 Edward Clewley lived at a house called Silvaplane which became #31
Couldn't see a house called Silverbirch but might be wrong.

Could this be that the scan has taken place from the wrong side of the negative ?

The question is - is 31 the house in the photograph?
I don't think it is.
So perhaps there was a house called Silverbirch although I still haven't found one

All the images are scans from the original Photographs - so the Picture must have been printed reversed.

i agree jan not no 31..ive been up and down the road with no luck..i suspect the house in the photo could have been demolished..noticed some new build at one end of the road
