Monument rd.DRs.next to swimming baths.Next I have this imposing building but no idea of where it is, some of the notes may suggest it is in Saltey but that is a long shot. Seems to have prams outside the left hand entrance and the figure in the centre seems to have a long gown on. Any offers?

This is a difficult one and if you ask AI to give a pencil impression this is produced. Note the writing it has produced !

Morning Jonob, any chance you could ask your friend Al to have a go at this one for me please? It's a lot better than it was originally but still not too clear.
Many thanks,
Penny

I think they are the famous Birmingham Pecky Blinders. Not a sparrow to mess with. Those photos are really good Pedro42, thank you. Just a little worried about the size of the sparrows!

The house I grew up in during the 50's and 60's was on a flightpath for starlings flying into the city for the night. The sky was black with them. The city centre at night was filled with the sound of them.Oversized starlings! Birmingham was/is famous for them.![]()
This is Chester Road and if you kept walking to the top turn left is how you used to get onto the canal as kids to go and play. On the right hand side is the. House is where the chicks The Williams the halls and the Birches lived. The Woodyard would be on the right hand side after the houses connecting onto Hubert Street and of course where the houses begin is the connection onto Aston Brook Street. For the next picture I need some detective work, we have crossed the road and I am told " This is the old Shead and Uoter building" is this what it was actually called? - buildings from 1890's and now a gas bottle depot my information says..
Note the security measures glass stuck in cement - nice slate roof though.
