A drawing of 62 - 64 Albion Street. What a joy to find it's still standing. It was designed by William Tadman Foulkes as a jewellery factory and built for Bishton & Fletcher in 1883. Not 100% sure about the labels for the images in the 1885 drawing but they may be

The newspaper extract in #4 perfectly illustrates how, in the past, industrial buildings were not just functional and fit for purpose, but often built to a great design, using good quality materials. Thank goodness many have survived into the 21st century.
