If you look carefully you can see a plaque between the two windows - the second picture is a poor one which gives a rough idea on what it says - best I can do I am afraid.

The baths seem to have been built between 1921 and 1932, according to Kellys. They do appear marked on the maps I have , but were between 72 and 118 towards the northern end on the eastern side
 
Wizzing along on Roll 83 now - another bulk drop from January 1993, if there is something of note I will say or comment but my description for picture 1 - 12 is shops in and around Witton Road , Trinity Road and I am not sure of the area so the locations merge!
Another quiet Sunday morning variety of shops with accomodation above. A variety of shop style fonts too.

1st picture shows houses along Witton Lane,all gone now.Dont know if Villa bought them all up to extend the stand or not.Used to be the chippy near this end..it might be the building in the picture and terrace houses further along . Used to go to matches on my Honda 90 and park in a blokes back garden here for a fee.But no idea how I found out this was possible..One of life's mysteries.
 
I believe we have now gone round in a circle and are now looking up Witton Road, from the left we have a small house with a ghost sign ( better view later) with a taller building next to it, next to that is an interesting building - with one long frontage which is now shops - was it always shops? Going up the road we have a video shop , and then a shop with the blind down and goods out the front. Note the person waiting for the bus - a long wait on a Sunday morning.

We now have " old Church Hunters Road" We seem to be taking this from the car park at the rear so I assume Hunters Road is at the front - not sure of the church name - but has a lovely curved wall at the end at the rear
EDIT: From Mark Tooze - Hamstead Road Baptist Church, looking across from Hunters Road. Bonner Hall is on the left - Taj and Co on the right, the Burton House pub behind the photographer.

The first house after the shops was my Great Grandmas house
we lived abit further up

This is Hamstead Road Baptist Church, looking across from Hunters Road. Bonner Hall is on the left - Taj and Co on the right, the Burton House pub behind the photographer.
 
On a similar theme - we now have " Old School Hunters Road", interesting building with towers, brickwork and carved wording above doors, note how the nearest tower is taller than the furthest. Just added a few more shots and noticed the brickwork over the doors is different - unusual

1st Edit - found some more pictures, he must have gone back for the close ups.

EDIT: From Mark Tooze - Bonner Hall - we used to run cubs and scouts here back in the 1980s Proper old church school type building with classrooms downstairs and on the upper balcony

This is the Bonner Hall - we used to run cubs and scouts here back in the 1980s Proper old church school type building with classrooms downstairs and on the upper balcony
 
House and buildings Villa Road - another unhelpful description and again I will batch load them as there is nothing much to add posting them separately, this is all land to the rear of the Bulls Head - that's where the satellite dish is Sad to see obviously an old part of the area. We now move to Villa Street and the Bulls Head, which is the large building seen from area been cleared - you can also pick out the end wall of the building on the left. From the left we have a small gateway presumably leading to the area from the previous post, then a small shop with one room above and then the the imposing Bulls Head, symmetrical layout, sash windows upstairs and the interesting roof line

Still in Villa Road but looking a bit further to the right , a long line of shop fronts, but I feel that the interest lies above ground floor level with the variety and size of buildings and windows. We have a small three storey building then a tall building which is still three stories !! and how large the chimneys are with all the chimney pots

EDIT: Thanks Astoness for pointing out I said Villa Street not road on a number of posts - now amended.

Last few off this roll and we have "in and around Dudley Road, Winson Green"
First up we have a piece of land been redeveloped - any offers?

Next is a general street view - off license, and betting shop , note the tiny mini waiting to pull out, and the usual road works with no one working !!

and finally although all taken on the same date 31st January 1993, there is an old look to this group of shops, Dudley Road Post office (No.158?) ,
see also the post box with the cream colour sign pointing to the post office - could never work that out why you would need a sign for a building so close.

There was nothing interesting about the Burton House - it was a real dump - I remember finishing Cubs one Friday night and someone had just been shot on its car park. Uggh.... Add in the sqeals and occasional views through the open gates coming from Taj and Co Halal butchers on the other side - no wonder we struggled for numbers....
 
Moving onto Roll 84 we have "old shops bottom of Warstone Lane"

The picture shows the midst of change - property on the left is a modern building - the next one has many openings both windows and alleys bricked up, the rest of the road looks closed but not too far gone - but looking today - its the modern building that has been replaced to fit in with the scene, all the properties have been refurbished and it looks great.

We now pop around the corner into Carver Street large building which has had the windows replaced with the small square panes on the ground floor, note the random bay window on the first floor too, building has been restored with original type windows on the ground floor and the buildings on the right have had a lick of paint too

Our next picture in this tour now takes us along the shop frontages on the picture above to its junction with Icknield Street, number of little shops all taken away and this now forms the site of the "New " Royal Mint.
