Armstrong, Stevens & Son Ltd.
Came across this on ebay and did a bit of simple research on line.
Firm was founded in 1835! with premises for many years at 15 Whittall Street. They later had a factory in Willenhall. It is no longer an independent company.
The 1914 Directory lists them as drop forge manufacturers employing 300 employees. They were particularly noted for producing hand tools with an emphasis on spanners and wrenches [lots for sale on Ebay!] under the “Lion Brand” but also much more; including all sorts of things for the motor trade.

Adverts from 1902.
Amazingly, they also made telescopes at least for a time. Now very collectable. Here's a pic from about 1890. Shows once again Brum initiative in the metal trades.

And finally - an enamel key fob - made by Melsom Products another well known Birmingham firm. Possibly dating to the 1960s. Their car key fobs in prticular are very collectable.

If anyone can find a photograph of the 15 Whittall Street I would be very pleased. Sadly, I can't!
