From Our Gardens 2025

Remember to look for the "Harvest Supermoon" tonight if the clouds allow it.
The first of three consecutive supermoons of 2025 will appear in our skies on Tuesday night.
The full Harvest Moon rises in the UK at around 18:20 BST on 7 October.
It will be the largest and brightest full Moon of the year so far and the first supermoon since November 2024.

Here is how it looked last night - some nice cloud effects:-

I have a Dovecote in my garden & there are usually 3 or 4 doves flitting around. Yesterday i found one of the doves dead in the dovecote ( such lovely birds close up } This morning i counted 11 doves in the garden so i was wondering if they were having a wake for their passing comrade.:)
