tennant street

Was that Immanuel School, Tennant Street on the corner in the second photo ? Maybe part of the Immanuel chapel alongside ?

Don't know if this link below helps, but it mentions a chapel at Court 12, Bishopsgate Street it had once been used as an adult school. The school moved on to bigger premises.

That makes more sense brummy-lad. I was struggling to place the church/chapel in Bishopgate Street on maps using the configuration in Lyn's photo.

The church was known as Islington Church.

Brummy Lad I looked at this pic first thing this morning and my first thought was St Martins Street , I lived in the area from 1955-69 for the life of me though I cant work it out from your map where would Tennant St be as I'm taking the road to the left of the church to be Broad Street . can you put me right please ?
