I have a wedding photo from Percy Taylor photographers Handsworth! Does anyone know anything about this photographer? Could there be more photos of my family in early 50s? Brookes, Sutton

As to your family photos Wendy, perhaps you might be very lucky if you make a family tree on say Ancestry and put your photo in the gallery? I have found some family photos this way.
If you have older relatives with photos then see if they will pencil names on the back and let you copy them. The photos of most ordinary people disappear in house clearances and survive by chance. I don't think Percy Taylor would have kept records which survived.
I have a box of photos from Mother and an album some with names, but even though I have many other photos I can't put names to people she didn't remember. We never know what might turn up. Old photos are fascinating and a source of social history even if we can't name the people on them.
