Sad to see and hear that the Farcroft has suffered from a fire. My wife's father, sister and parents lived most of their lives almost directly opposite the Farcroft on Rookery Road. Her father played in a dance band called the Santiago Boys. Went to several family and friends events. My school bus stops were outside the Farcroft. Many happy memories
