My mum used to work in Englands shoe shop and Speedway rider Graham Warren used to come in and buy shoes from her, does anyone know anything about him please?

There don't seem to be a lot of sport contributions on this excellent webring, which doesn't worry me much, because I was never very interested. But I do remember going to the motor cycle speedway racing at the old Birchfield Harriers stadium, known as the "Alexandra Ground" in Aldridge Road...

I am beginning to hate iPads with predictive text, I was halfway through writing ...What a superb picture, picture two is as an awareness of British cars, but also note thr range which shows the growing affluence and eventually led to all those buses in Pic 3 not being needed for a few years...

One of the original riders when speedway came to Brum after the war, I remember watching him race along with Tiger Hart but not much else.
