Co-Op, Stoney Lane, Yew Tree

Would anyone know the year that the Co-Op on Stoney Lane near the Yew Tree pub finally closed?

Another question from my better half ;)

Well Google Street View for August 2008 shows Bathrooms Galore and Martin's in occupation so at least ten years ago!

Where was the Co-op on Stoney Lane? I know the Co-op next to the pub (which was the Yew Tree) but I don't remember it being in any other location.

Looking towards the Yew Tree roundabout (and the Swan), the Co-Op was on the right (see the BCS logo on the brickwork).

I see now. I know the Yew Tree very well (used to live off Church Road and mother in law has lived at the back of "Woolworths" for 60 years!), but not that bit of Stoney Lane, never had much reason to go down that way.

More than 30 years..... I was guessing at about 20, but that's all it was, a 'guess'.

Thanks for all the replies. They've helped ;)
