Long shot, as this thread has not been active for a decade! My Nan, Patricia Howell (nee Harley), who has a twin sister June Harrison (nee Harley), born in July 1938, were daughters of George Harley and Elsie Harley, who I believe lived at 48 Patrick Road. George ran a branch of his family business 'Harley's Shoe Repairs', I believe his branch would've have been the one located at 1774 Coventry Road. I would love to see the photo from V.E Day as I am trying to gather photos for my Nan and Great Aunt for their 88th birthdays, and she and her sister may be in the photograph!

Quite a well trodden empire which had may collection points it appears. I wonder how the collections and deliveries were made to and from the receiving agents, most likely using the nearest branch for repairs and subsequent deliveries.
