Hi all
while i was in Weston-super-mare today i saw a van with Kleenezi as its logo.
I remember years ogo he called on his bike.Case on the back broom stales on
the cross bar. I seem to remember another firm very similar ,or am i dreaming???
KEN

Ken, there was another firm round in the 80's called Kleenezee, they were a franchised firm and you paid to have their stoc and sell it - it was part of the so-called pyramid business style, cost some people their homes and savings, one of our neighbours got sucked into it and got stung badly, ended up losing their house.
I think it made another comeback more recently though, selling its cleaning products.

Oh, Sue, that's why I remember them years ago, then a gap, then they arrived back on the scene again. They sell more than cleaning products - at least they did the last time a brochure was left with me. Almost the same as Betterwear, and about as useful.

Didnt Ken Dodd start off as a Kleenzi salesman? Bernard

From what little I have gleaned Kleen-E-Ze is not a 'Pyramid Scheme' which is illegal but is in fact a 'Multi Level Marketing' (MLM) scheme which is legal. It appears that whilst some may make a lot of money they would be the nearer the top of the 'Multi Layer Marketing' Scheme rather than at the bottom. If anyone wants to read more there was an interesting - at times heated - discussion on Money Saving Expert

ome time back they started to allow sellers to go where they liked instead of having designated areas - this lead to a dilution of earnings potential. It also lead me to get fed up with more than one catalogue being dropped off.

I know that pyramid marketing was out-lawed quite a few years ago, but not until after it had caused a lot of trouble for some people, have to say the MLM sounds much the same though.................
Sue

Sue my brother looked into the company and I think the pyramid one was Amway. He didn't get involved I am glad to say. We still have books posted through the door with a similar name though to Kleen eez.
