hello to you all,
I am wondering if anyone can help me please,i have been searching for a very long time now,and at one time had a researcher trying to help me with no luck.I am trying to find my great grandfathers birth certificate. his name was george winnall stone,born in c1848 in handsworth staffordshire,his father was george stone too, but that is all i know of his parents.
george married jane harris in july 1871 they lived in hurst street birmingham.george died in 1925 aged 77he was living at 6 matlock villas,bresterton road,sparkbrook.

What makes you sure that he was called George WINNALL Stone? I only ask because his death entry says George W Stone and his marriage says George Stone.
Do you have some documentary evidence to support the Winnall part? On the electoral rolls he only appears as George Stone with Jane at 6 Matlock Villas, Chesterton Road.

Ok maybe this is where you got the WINNALL from?
England and Wales National Probate
George Stone otherwise George Winnall of 6 Matlock Villas, Chesterton Rd, Sparkbrook, Birmingham died 24 June 1925 at High Street, King's Heath, Birmingham.
Probate Birmingham 4 July to James Wheatley Invoice Clerk, £192 1s 6d

hi yes i got it from his death certificate,would you know were i can find his birth cert?

I have looked at all the variables that he could have perhaps been registered under and I have left no stone uncovered I think (pardon the pun) but to no avail. Perhaps someone else on here will have a look also?
