Baptisms

Ewan

master brummie
Just a few remaining baptisms from St Martins they I need checking out please, if Shera or anyone else can help with please.

Samuel 01.08.1791
James Thomas 01.10.1789
Phebe 16.05.1787
Rosanna 20.06.1785
John 13.06.1783

On the IGI the parents are Thomas and Ann, these baptisms are extracted records, just wondered if there was anything extra to know about from the original.

Many thanks
Ewan

ah i see now the surname was cox. im getting you mixed up with sparkhill boy who ive been doing lookups for at st. martins, and his were "fellows"

thats ok ewan, i found them by the dates. they are all correct but no other info on any of them :)

There's me thinking it was some technical genealogical term. LOL

What would we do without you Shera and your magic CD of St Martins?

Okay thank you for your valid help again, it is probably 'dodgy' submitted records that may say something different.;)

Back again .....

Just to confirm you don't have records of St Philips 1783/1788 do you Shera?

have you got the marriage of thomas cox to ann justin? 16 may 1779 i wondered if that is the parents of the above children

The records I was interested in were baptism ones, I believe there are 2 brothers from the five baptisms of siblings that I mentioned from St Martins.

Thank you for asking about the marriage of Thomas Cox and Ann Justin you very kindly looked it up for me -

As you mention whether this Thomas and Ann were parents of those children, I don't know if you saw this thread started by me?

yes i remember now seeing the thread but i dont know the answer either, just can tell you the limited info on the records that i have. unfortunately its very difficult with a common name like cox

Unfortunately, there is little information on these older records but at least sometimes it can point us in the right direction.

Thanks for all your help over the past few days.
