Here's mine Frothblower. Best of all they serve excellent Banks'

If you do ever stray over Harborne way, I also recommend a visit to The Bell. I was always told it was the only pub on consecrated ground. I am not sure that is strictly true but it certainly is in the precincts of St Peter's leafy grounds

Well, if you're talking about a trip into Town then a visit to The Old Royal might be in order. There are now some top class restaurants in the vicinity too.
The Streetview was taken on a very dark & stormy day so I attach a pic. EnjoyEngland describes it thus: "Situated in the heart of Birmingham, this traditional pub is a listed building, has links with Queen Victoria and has a 100 year history.The Old Royal pub, now a listed building, is over 100 years old and still has the original stained glass windows. As confirmed in an 1899 lease, the pub started life as the Red Lion and since then it has also been known as The White Lion. There is a lion weathervane on the top of the central turret and lions feature in the stained glass windows that, like the exterior of the building, are original."

Frothblower - I am sure you are aware but just in case I happened by this link (2nd story down) that says your local is one of the oldest in Birmingham & haunted - is that so? & have you seen it (before emptying any barrels)?
