Saltley Gas works..

I am amazerd at the memories and knowledge you all have and how willingly you share with everyone. Can anyone help me with any info regarding my g grandfather please? His name was Frederick Dobbins born 1st June 1859 and in June 1907 when working as a steeplejack he fell off Saltley Gasworks to his death. I'm not sure if there would have been any newspaper reports about it. Any help would be gratefully received. Thank you.
