Hi,
I am becoming increasingly frustrated in being unable to trace two of my female ancestors from 1800s Birmingham using online resources. I know the last census record they appear on with their parents (1851 and 1881 respectively), but in spite of many years searching Ancestry, FreeBMD (which is supposed to be complete) and IGD I have been unable trace any death or marriage records, or indeed any records at all. Is it likely that I need to visit the Library of Birmingham to use the parish records there or are online records fairly complete? Or should I perhaps resign myself to the fact that the marriage records I need are missing.
