This memorial originally stood upon a base opposite the entrance to the Museum and Art Gallery in Chamberlain Square. The original monument served as a drinking fountain, with semi - circular bowl under each lions mouth.
Does anyone have any photographs or any information when the memorial was erected and when it was relocated to central library :positive:
