  • HI folks the server that hosts the site completely died including the Hdd's and backups.
    Luckily i create an offsite backup once a week! this has now been restored so we have lost a few days posts.
    im still fixing things at the moment so bear with me and im still working on all images 90% are fine the others im working on now
    we are now using a backup solution

Looking for info on my grandfathers brother James Rose b Aston not sure what date,but around 1907.
James was a well known boxer of his time,is there anyone up on the amateur boxing that may have heard of him??

I had a friend at school called Jane Rose and she was from Tamworth. I think her dad was called Bill and her sister Debbie.
 
Maryrose i was born in Kings Heath,from the age of 3 grew up in Nechells,moms family all came from Aston.
I have lived in Tamworth 19 yrs. :)
 
There was a tailor named Rose in Newtown Row, Aston up to the 60s, shop was just up from Bracebridge Street going towards town.
