Duchess Place Three ? Or Edgbaston House ?

Can't tell you the name of the building, but the whole area was Duchess Place, lets hope they knock down some more of the similar concrete sectional monstrosities in the area whilst they are at it.

From the style of the building & where it was, it looks as if it was Birmingham Disability Resource Centre

Demolition yesterday from Edgbaston Reservoir.

Huntly Road view.

It's going for something called New Garden Square.

#2 Duchess Place used to be part of the Dept of Employment from memory. But their presence would have been gone long ago. Many of these DoE regional offices disappeared over the many many reorganisations in the last 20 or so years. Viv.

Can any one recall if the office block was Called Duchess Place Three or was it Edgbaston House? not that it matters as it is being demolished, yet another building that will not see old age, the building was between Hagley Road and Duchess Road, there are 13 photos to see
Yes it was Edgbaston House at 3 Duchess Place. Worked there on the 5th Floor mid to late 80's

They were originally large houses and some were turned into small hotels before they were demolished to make way for car parking facilities for the offices.
