British History Online tells us :

COLMORE COUNTY PRIMARY SCHOOL, King's Heath. Colmore Rd. Council Sch. opened 1911 by King's Norton and Northfield U.D.C. Accom. 1,200 B, G, I.Reorganized 1930 for SG, JM, I. Practical rooms provided 1936. S dept. became a separate sch. 1945 (see next sch.). Name changed 1954. Accom. 1961: 23 classrooms, 3 halls.

COLMORE GIRLS' COUNTY MODERN SCHOOL, King's Heath. Colmore Road Girls' Cty. Modern Sch. became a separate sch. 1945 (see preceding sch.). Accom. 400 G. Accom. for 105 in huts provided 1948 and for 1 class in Hazelwell Methodist Schoolroom 1951. Name changed 1954. Accom. 1955: 12 classrooms, practical rooms, hall. Closed 1959 and pupils transferred to Swanshurst Girls' Cty. Modern Sch.
