Practical rooms provided 1936. S dept. became a separate sch. 1945 (see next sch.). Name changed 1954. Accom. 1961: 23 classrooms, 3 halls.
COLMORE GIRLS' COUNTY MODERN SCHOOL, King's Heath. Colmore Road Girls' Cty. Modern Sch. became a separate sch. 1945 (see preceding sch.). Accom. 400 G. Accom. for 105 in huts provided 1948 and for 1 class in Hazelwell Methodist Schoolroom 1951. Name changed 1954. Accom. 1955: 12 classrooms, practical rooms, hall. Closed 1959 and pupils transferred to Swanshurst Girls' Cty. Modern Sch.
