NJust to mention.that Findmy past shows above entry as John & Mary PENHAM rather than Benham in case you use that site for your searches.

NThey appear to be too old to be the people the OP is looking for. They're on the 1851 census, aged 36 & 38, with 4 young children.

NHi Nicola, If you have access to ancestry, there is a John & Mary Benham at Lombard St. On the 1841 census which I think is very close...
