A photo that includes two(?) of my Uncles (Riches) along with their fellow pupils. I will add names when I get around to typing the list out. Taken early part of 2oth C - not sure of year but my Dad was born 1906 and his brothers were younger.
Yardley Wood Infants and Junior School Picture
Back Row – (Left to Right)
Jeff Small – Stanley Rowe – Bobbie Smith – Len Stokes – Clayton – Kimberley – Bertie Gough – One of the Riches Boys? – Matthews – Bartlett.
Boys 2[SUP]nd[/SUP] Row
Billy Rowney – Claud Cox – Harry Juggins – Herbert Riches – Anson – Preston – Wyburn – No 8 Forget – Bradley – Sam Rogers – No 11 Another Preston?
Girls 1[SUP]st[/SUP] Row
Dorothy Deddicoat – Winnie Percox? – May Johnson – Norah Hern – Ruth Coleman (of Coleman’s Fair Happy Valley) – Kathy Bennet – Margery Rowe – Olive Gough – Kathy Bailey – Gwendoline Elliot.
Girls Front Row
Narez Bianci – Daisy Copham – Kathy Edwards – Maud Overton (with slate) – Nellie Porter – Florrie George – Mary Boycott (butcher’s daughter).
Note: I have possibly made a few errors in transcribing. Also it should be known that the names were put to the photograph by Daisy Dark when she was C. 93. It is only my guess but I assume she was the Daisy Copham in the photograph.
