Yardley Road, Yardley Green Road Little Bromwich

Looks like relatively new housing on Yardley Road, Little Bromwich. There's something going on behind the postman with a horse and cart across the road - fixing the road/pavement ?
And four ladies out for a cycle ride.

That's great Jim, thanks. I struggled to find a modern comparison - was looking on Yardley Road !
This would be the view from about the top of Drummond Rd on what is now Yardley Green Rd. The lighter building in the distance is the Sampson pub seemingly without it’s clock.

When Kent's Moat estate, Garretts Green, was built 1948ish there were insufficient school places locally so we were transported by Eatonway's to a school in Drummond Rd. Bordesley Green.
