The picture shows the outside of the W. Wright shop at 539 Green Lane.

I'm not sure if that address is correct though.

I did a Google StreetView search and there are no signs, clues, or indications of 539 Green Lane being previously used as a business.

The photograph shows one door with two bay windows, and the public pavement is directly outside the shop door.

However, 539 Green Lane has one door and one bay window, with a garden followed by the public pavement.

There was a Wright's shop (which was a newsagents, and a sweet and games shop) further up the road in the block of businesses located on Green Lane between Newland Road and Hob Moor Road opposite Hingley's Chemist.

William Albert Wright is listed on 1920s ERs and the 1921 census at 539 Green Lane. On the census he is listed as a newsagent.

Thank you so much to everyone for the feedback and information above. The shop was indeed situated at no.539 Green Lane and located between the block of businesses on Green Lane between Hob Moor Road and Newland Road. Wright's Newsagents was directly opposite Hingley Pharmacy.
