I have just received this from a caring friend in Shrewsbury.
It seems to be a very simple "trick", which could be most useful, critical and life-saving.
It was a true dilemma to decide or not to post this - and I sincerely hope the advice will never be needed - but I personally think my friend was really considerate when he thought of me. I hope you will interpret my posting in a similar way. db84124

Please note that to be able to see the slideshow in Post #1, because its a pps file, you must have Microsoft Office PowerPoint installed.
To see slideshow, simply click on the blue/grey words Heart Attack, ignoring the frightening red cross. db84124

I have never seen this information before - I hope I never need to use it but I shall remember it just in case.

Hi - you don't need power point as MS have a power point viewer you can download from their site also Open Office (FREE) included a program that reads PPS files. I believe there are other free Power Point viewers available.

Good post DB

Bernie, Thanks very much for the enlightenment. Having XP Professional, I didn't initially recognise the problem of some members being unable to open the PowerPoint Slideshow attachment. Only when I spoke to a member this morning did I realise that some people would have this inconvenience. Thank you for the clarification. David
