If any of you brummies are in Witton Cemetery at any time i would be most gratefull if anyone could have a look at grave 39336 Thomas Hughes sector 152 a private grave deed number 28352, any details would be much apprciated but details on the headstone would be super!! i should be so lucky, it would howvwer save me a long journey (100miles Plus)
Many Thanks Val

ps researching the Hughes family:)

Val, I shall be going shortly (between 29 March and 9 April) but cannot give a definitive date as yet. Witton is huge (over 100 agres) and some of it on a fairly steep slope. I will do my best for you to obtain all details. If anyone is going before me, I won't be offended if you are in a hurry. I would appreciate a date of death if you have it please. - Shortie

Here is a map of Witton Cemetery if this helps section 152 is on the right near the top.

Thanks
Thomas Hughes died 29/11/1950 any info you can glean would be much appreicated, others buried with hiom are believed to be Phoebe Hughes, wife and daughter anne Hughes

Hi Val.
I will be visiting the cemetery this coming weekend, I'll have a look to see what info I can find for you.
Rob.
