Winters family -glebe farm

Cannot tell if you are local or not, but Glebe Farm Library have history and a large collection of photographs.

My paternal family came from the Glebe Farm area.. the Riddings to be exact.

Glebe farm Library have many photo's of the area (old and new) .. they also have a local history group.
 
I had an aunt and uncle who lived on Audley Road during the 50s. Ive seen some pictures of Glebe Farm somewhere try google may be earlier than the 50s though. I dont think it has changed that much though the Glebe pub has gone and is now houses, and there were a few prefabs on Audley Road but they were knocked down and an old peoples home built there, we used to go to Glebe farm park when we were kids there used to be a sons of rest place in there, I suppose that has gone now.
