hi astoness i have seen a website like mac josephs ladywood one if you google old images wison green it should come up with a few for you also a photographer called keith berry has various images

i am going to birmingham this morning mainly to visit handsworth cem
but as im from winson green im also taking a trip down memory lane
if you wont me to take some upto date pics i would be more than happy to as i will be doing some for myself

morning celia...thats very kind of you indeed...i bet there are quite a few members who would appreciate you taking some pics of ladywood as it is now and post them for us...especially as a lot live quite a distance and cant get there themselves...if you could just make a note of and streets or roads that would be brillient...have a great trip down memory lane...i love to go down my old end when i can..it brings back many happy memories for me...

Struggling to find this location on modern Winson Green Road. Could be a photo taken in the 1910s/1920s perhaps, A typical row of local shops offering everything you needed.
