Pam. Hello there, I remember the William White school across the road from the " Rising Sun " pub on the corner of Heneage Street and Windsor Street.
I was from Coleman Street, what was your mothers name ? I shall put a post on Gosta Green thread to see if anyone has a photograph.

Hello Ger22van MY aunts name is Mann but grans name was Copestick. My gran Elizabeth Copestick married Arthur Trotter in 1903 but he was killed in WW1 and then married Alfred Mann in 1918.
Many thanks

Hello Pam, I think I may have spoken to you before. I spoke of old lady Mann living in 13 court Coleman Street and George Mann the hairdressers in Great Lister Street. I think it was a daughter on Mann married a Davies.

Yes Ger22van have spoken beofre you kindly sent some pics of Coleman Street to me.My great gran was Alice Mann she disapproved of my gran marrying Alfred Mann as she had been married before(even though she was a widow) and had 5 children!!
