On the1911 census William Henry Burson b 1869 was living at 221 Baccus Rd.Winson Green
he was a Hair Dresser. Was his shop at his home Address or was it else where? Say Soho Rd
W H Burson died in1931 and was living at 27 Willes Rd,Winson Green.Just round the corner from Baccus Rd.Ws this his
shop address?Or perhaps it was in Handsworth New Rd.

John Hughes
As 27 Willes Rd does not appear in the 1929 directory it is almost certain that it a a home address unless it was it was an empty business address that then would not appear in the directory

It has both but you have to be a business or a house/home owner to be in it if you rented or were a lodger your name would appear in you imagine the size of the directory if it were to include all of Brum
