WHO PINCHED ME BARRA THEN???

Pomgolian

Kiwi Brummie
 Our Mom made one just like this for moving house from Dymoke St to Gt Lister St . Then I used it as a Doll pram before it being used again for My sister and I doing the Saturday 'Coke Run', for the flats.

Cropped from one of 'pic's on 'The Blitz'

Great photo Pom. I remember kids putting Guy Fawkes in those barra's and
chanting "Penny for the Guy". There really wasn't anything to carry larger items in back then except prams which had many lives it seems. I often look around now at all the contraptions for babies and toddlers, so convenient and comfortable. It was different for our Mums with heavy push chairs and other little siblings being dragged along or propposed up on the front apron of the pram.
