Whittard of Chelsea

jennyann

Gone but not forgotten. R.I.P.
Looks like this chain is going down now with a loss of 500 jobs. My daughter took me to their store in Chelsea a few years ago and then I used to shop at the shop in the Bullring on visits to Brum. Whittard of Chelsea has been in business for over 100 years. I have a couple of tins of their tea in my cupboard now. The way things are going there will be no old businesses left.

It seems from tonight's news that the administrators have found a buyer for the company and most if not all of the shops will survive. E.
