The pub was a beerhouse and at no 79., position shown in red on map c 1889.
A list from Directories and newspapers of Landlords ( not complete and date is date of publication and for old directories can be a couple of years out of date so are marked with a *):
1845*-1855* Thomas Riley
1862 John Gloster
1867* Joseph Litchfield
1867-1869 Joseph Springthorpe (his wife gave evidence in murder case where two lodgers at the were accused of killing a Miss Milbourne. thye got offf, but their accomplice got 14 years)
1870 George Twitty
1870-1871 William Heneage
1871-1873* George Andrews
1876*-1884* Joseph McGann
In 1888 it has disappeared and the site seems to be occupied by an umbrella factory.

Thank you Mike for looking into this, it really is very interesting I wonder why George Twittey was only there for a year ? The times I have walked down Allison St past the Brolly Works in the past on my way to work, I think the building is now converted into apartments.
