You are of course correct It is Timms Garage on Moseley Road Balsall Heath just before the library & swimming baths. I past by this place 5 days a week for 4 years on my way to school, and of course every time I went swimming with my free pass.
If you look closely you can see the two lads in the photo have rolled towels under their arms. It looks as if they are on their way home from the baths.

I am intended to beleive you phil there was not any chapels there f you ge my drift
it would have been a couple of the old irish road workrs gingto work after spending the night inthe golden
gloves all night as you could drnk inthere until six .and get the break fast
or on the way to the old coach and horses as she opened the side door around six for these guys then ;
