Where is This? Garages #10

Phil

Gone, but not forgotten.
This is a good one, I'll leave this one completely untouched.

Phil,
I have no idea where this is, but it is a great photo. Imagine living in the flat/house and having to come through that door with petrol pumps either side of you. Where were the tanks that stored the fuel? They must have been living over a bomb......

I can never get these ones, but I don't think its Slade Road, unless its Stockland Green, but I don't think so. Shall follow the thread with interest.

Great Photograph Phil but no idea where it could have been. Aston Road ? its a level road that's all I know.

Brummie Nick

You are the closest, but you will have to be a little more precise.

Don't go patting each other on the back yet, as you are both not quite right. As you are quite close you must have been thinking of the right place so I am going to give it to you.

It is actually the next road down the Coventry Rd to Kings Rd, George Rd. So sort of well done to both of you.

I'm sorry about the delay in answering but I am in to process of moving all my files to a new computer.

Baron, as soon as my photo files have downloaded to my new machine, I'll see what I can sort for you.

Thanks Phil , Iam an Aston born / Sutton area guy & we seem to have such great photos of where is it but most come from the south or east of the city. Look forward to your posts (NOT SAYING I WILL GET ANY RIGHT LOL) .

Baron

I have done some of these type quizzes with locations over Aston way, but I will be the first to admit I do not have much personal knowledge of a lot further north than that. This means if I post a location that I am not sure of and the caption or title of the photo is wrong it can lead to difficulties.

But as I have said, I will see what I can come up with.
