Bristol Road Selly Oak, with the junction at Oak Tree Lane on the right? If so, it's taken from outside the Oak cinema.
 
Good heavens, is it Northfield before the Grosvenor centre was built on this site?

Is it Bristol St near where you turn left to go onto what is now the Middleway? I can see why Lloyd thought it was near oak tree lane, as I would have sworn that was it except for the junction at the end

Well done Mike, it is at the end Bristol Street and at the traffic lights is Belgrave Road, now replaced by the Middle Ring Road.
