Gone, but not forgotten.
Seeing that my last attempt got solved so quickly, here is another one. From the back once again.

If it didn't have to be in Birmingham I would say it was at the back of a little pub in Ludlow. Jean.

Not very good at these things but it does remind me of the Old Crown in Digbeth as well!!

I never went round the back of that pub just upstairs to the jazz nights but I think you two ar right. I'm always wrong useless at this quiz. Jean.

You have got one thing right, it is a the back of a pub. All you need to do is find out which pub.

Are you hacking in to my computer, you are right again and not a bus in sight. Well done.

It was slightly more than a guess, I used to live on KN Green, in one of the houses past the cinema and did a little bit of local history of the area (in the days before computers and internet). That was 40 years ago, thinking about it!!

A mate of mine bought most of the one corner of the Green in the seventies including the hardware shop and some houses at the back of it. He couldn't make the Hardware shop pay (unusual for him) He eventually sold the hardware shop the one of his employees's "Mick" he made a living from it and was quite happy there. I heard that he passed away a few years back.
