Gone, but not forgotten.
I will make this very easy, because I'm off to the Highlands tomorrow and I don't want to leave any loose ends.

Sorry ladies no correct response yet. I would have thought you ladies would have solved this with ease.

No I knew you meant a cake shop. I thought there was a Kunzle's New Street Way. Drucker's was in the Great Western Arcade. Barrow's I think was Corporation St/ Bull Street.
Must try harder! Useless tonight.

Yes its C Kunzle Cakes in Union St on the corner of Union Passage on the other side of the passage is I think the Corner Cupboard Public House.

I think you would have to go far to find a Kunzle cake today Ann.

Curse! I thought of Union Street / Union Passage, but the 'turn right' sign and cars facing down put me off, Union Street was one way UP when I knew it!
What date is the picture, please?

Well that's good Phil. At least you can get off on your hols now. My mom and my husband's mom worked at the Kunzle Factory Garretts Green, so we both had our fair share of those lovely cakes. No, more's the pity, we wouldn't get one now.
Have a great holiday Phil.

All the best Ann

Lloyd I seem to remember taking the photo in October 1953 with my box brownie. Good for a six year old wasn't I.
