Who can identify this demolition site, it should be reasonably easy. There are plenty of clues.

Right once again, its the site of the former barracks at Vauxhall, you can make out the steeple of St James the Lesser in Barrack St just to the right of the picture.

Phil. Wish I had looked at it sooner, I am sure I would have guessed it.
Then again its easy to say after the event. I can see Windsor Street school to the left and Saint James as you say to the right. Thanks for the Photograph Phil, would it be early 1940's before I even ventured that far to Barrack Street park?
