The weekend is upon us, a time for frippery & foolishness so with that in mind I shall continue with my next offering in this eatery section of "Where is This"
As this one has to be well known I don't expect it to last long.
oh great phil....well if your talking a recent big hole the only one i can think of is where they are now building the cube building....by the mailbox....just off waterloo st i think...
I have to tell that like many of such holes in the ground it has now been filled in and no longer exists. When we have put a name to this location, if anyone can tell me what the idea was behind it in the first place was I would be interested to learn.
im confused now phil..lol....so we have a road/street that was demolished to make way for a big hole and then the hole was filled in and not used for the foundations to buld anything....totally lost now..will go and have a cuppa and a re think...
Jean i do,nt remember that tell me more if you can,I was thinking more along the lines of a useless statue like the Iron man they would have had to dig a hole and fill it with concrete i,m just treading water at the moment i need another clue. Dek
Dek I answered this on a thread ages back and it was when they had to close the road off and my answer was just a guess. I don't know if it made a hole or just became unsafe. I think Motorman Mike posted it?. Jean.
