I didn't know what the barge full of people were doing, but you are so close all you have to do is give me the name of the factory, and you do know it.
Sorry, Baron not Cadbury's, davidfowler did everything but name the factory. except for doing this he has got the answer. I should give it to him really but it is such a well known place.
Phil I'm sure I have a recent photo the same place as my son hired canal barges for his wedding celebration. There was only one loo on board each barge and they stopped to let all the fellas off for a relief. Can't remember the factories name but have the photo. Jean.
As you were the first one to name the factory Fort Dunlop I award first place to you. The photo was taken in 1918. In reality davidfowler should have taken it, but I did ask for the name of the factory
The factory in the background is the beginings of Fort Dunlop Wood Lane (as you said) Erdington. The people in the barge, as it pointing away from the factory were probably returning to the factory in Rocky Lane Aston.
