My Grandad was Hubert Edward Wells.
He served as Pte 16098 8 Bn Oxford and Bucks Light Infantry. He was at first in France (18 Sep 1915) then in November 1915 he was posted to Macedonia, and stayed there for the remainder of the war.
Is there some way I can find out when and where he enlisted?
