What mapping software do you use for genealogy?

What mapping software do you use to show the locations of your family?
How good is it & how much mapping detail can it provide? Would Birmingham show as one location, for instance, or would it be possible to distinguish between different areas or even streets?
How would the software deal with more distant locations such as Birmingham & say Gloucestershire or Staffordshire?
 
I use Legacy7 I find it very good. Must be the full version not the free
