Hi All,

As a change from name the pub, garage or corner shop I thought I would try "What is the Connection" The below named men all had something in common. Can anyone tell me the connection?

Hi All,

Patty is very close but not quite. At least one of them had the George Cross but, other than the blitz, I do not know of a bomb blowing up in Coventry.

It has been on the news in the last couple of days where a bomb was removed from a residential area toa more rural area where it exploded before it could be defused killing the seven brave souls who had transported it , I think it was the 70th anniversary andd a memorial was erected to the men Bernie
 
Hi Patty,

You nearly have it. Yes they were Bomb Disposal experts but, sadly, they were all killed when the devices they were working on exploded. They were just 5 of many and I am now going to open a new thread on the subject. Thankyou for your interest.
